Why the seminar
The Metallurgical Protective Materials (MPM) is an important material for iron & steel making. The MPM industry has been growing in full swing in China for the last few years. 4 million ton different kinds of the MPM is needed for iron and steel making, secondary refining and continuous casting (the common slag making materials are not included) in one year. The continuous increase of steel production capacity will cnsume ever greater amount of higher quality MPM in the years to come.

Hence MPM industry urgently needs to increase its technonology and raise its production level and, above all, try to explore secondary resources, which is the potential substitute as the basic material of the MPM.

Preliminary Program

Registration and Registration Fee
Delegate attending the conference should pay the registration fee, which is US$1500 per head. The fee is inclusive of documentation, conference venues, refreshments, lunches and dinners, etc. It does not include the cost of accommodation.

The deadline for advance registration will be April 12, 2006. An additional US$50 will be charged for payment after the deadline or on-site registration even though the registration form has been received beforehand.

Delegate who has registered and paid the full registration fee to the congress can apply to make a presentation at the technical seminar with no charge. Those, who do not attend the congress but want to make presentation at the technical seminar, should pay the presentation fee of US$600.
