Under the support of China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the updated edition of the Directory of Iron and Steel Plants and Institutions in China 2011 (English & Chinese) is going to be republished in mid-October, 2011 on the basis of the 2009 edition. Some steel producers were newly added while other relevant metallurgical companies were recompiled in this new edition. Up to now, this bilingual directory is containing the most completed steel producers' info and most widely issued in this sector.

The Directory covers the major domestic steel producers and related enterprises with the total number of 531, including 188 iron & steel plants, 55 trading & logistics firms, 41 R&D Engineering & Construction companies, 45 equipment manufacturers & suppliers (incl. rollers), 88 ferroalloy producers, 22 refractory producers, 46 industrial organizations, and 47 Chinese embassies/consulates and 15 CCPIT offices abroad. Due to the reconsolidation, restructuring and changes of some steel companies, there may be mistakes or inconsistencies, for which we would like to apologize. Corrections and suggestions from the relevant enterprises are anticipated in order to make improvement in the next edition.
